The Coach Went to the Rival Team to Seal a Marriage Pact (Esports)

Lin Zhian was the legendary ADC of The Summit Showdown.

Three years ago, his perfect teamwork with his support F. Baixiang (Duan Mingyu) led to an unstoppable pentakill and won Fruit five consecutive championships.

But at the awards ceremony that followed, F. Boluo (Lin Zhian), still in his prime, suddenly announced his retirement.

Two years ago, a team called NS burst onto the scene. With an undefeated record, they made it to the final four of The Summit Showdown's autumn season, only to narrowly lose to the veteran team Fruit.

People were impressed by F. Baixiang's excellent transition from support to jungler, but they were even more interested in finding out who the outstanding coach of NS was.

It wasn't until the awards ceremony that Lin Zhian took off his mask. The whole audience cried out in surprise: No wonder he's the God of Peace!

A year ago, NS and Fruit faced off in the finals once again. NS won by a single point, beginning a new era of their own.

That day was F. Baixiang's retirement match. His previously undefeated career finally came to an end on an imperfect note.

It was also the day someone saw Lin Zhian, who never drank, get dead drunk and be helped back to the team base by his teammates.

Now, the former golden duo of Fruit had reunited. A simple handshake onstage brought tears to the eyes of countless esports fans.

But Lin Zhian knew he and Duan Mingyu could never go back to the way they were.

The brothers who had once been inseparable were now coaches of opposing teams. From then on, all that awaited them was one rivalry and maneuver after another.

He never expected Duan Mingyu, always so arrogant and brazen, to come to his viewing room before every match and chat with him just like old times, with each conversation getting more outrageous.

“An'an, who do you think will win?”

“An'an, you look even more handsome lately!”

“An'an, did you retire because of me?”

“An'an, have you ever kissed anyone? Want to try it with me?”

Later, someone saw Duan Mingyu sneak into the NS team base dressed all in black. He didn't come out until the next morning.

Not only had he changed clothes, he proudly showed off the little hickey on his neck to everyone.

It was said that on the very same day, the God of Peace, who never took a day off, had actually asked for leave because he felt unwell and stayed in bed all day!
