Synopsis 1:
Shiina Yui looks like an utterly ordinary high school girl, but in reality, she's an extremely rare kind of witch.
And a Japanese-style one, at that.
How she became a witch is a long story.
-
Shiina Yui, known as Xiao Yui in her previous life, was Chinese, and her job was... well, she was a struggling fiction writer, more or less.
She'd been in poor health since childhood and was often in the hospital. She also loved writing fanfiction, so she was always looking for inspiration in all kinds of books. On the day her condition worsened and she died, Xiao Yui happened to be reading a Japanese light novel.
The novel was about witches. Its portrayal of witches was a little like that in Hayao Miyazaki's Kiki's Delivery Service, and the story focused on farming. Xiao Yui thought it was interesting, so she kept rereading it during that period.
Then, after one of her surgeries, she opened her eyes and found herself reborn into a witch's family in Japan.
Her parents: “Xiao Yui, would you like to stay in Japan when you grow up, or go to Hogwarts?”
Synopsis 2:
On the day Xiao Yui turned fifteen, a witch placed a curse on her.
The curse was that if Xiao Yui couldn't find true love before she turned twenty, she would fall into an eternal sleep.
Xiao Yui's response: “...What is this, some kind of fairy-tale setup?”
If everyone around her hadn't been acting perfectly normal all this time, she would almost have suspected that she'd transmigrated into some strange reverse-harem dating sim.
P.S.:
1. The premise of this story has changed.
2. These are the two tentative synopses. I'll see whether I write a proper one later.
3. I want to write farming and everyday life. If you're hoping for a magical girl Xiao O story, this isn't it!
