Li Bai'an awakens in the so-called twenty-second century. She is the only person who knows the truth about the world: she is inside a virtual space made of code.
Nuclear explosions, pollution, mutations. The leaden sky brews acid rain that corrodes the conscience, while cold steel breeds rust that smothers all life.
Are the strange creatures disrupting the world viruses in the System, unintended byproducts, or part of a conspiracy?
Will the warnings found in ancient myths become prophecies for the land beneath their feet?
To escape this desperate virtual world, Li Bai'an must find her true self, restore order to the world, and teach the strange creatures and NPCs how to behave.
Along the way, she will climb the most perilous peaks.
In a mottled world, she will witness fearlessness and new beginnings.

Team member: "Captain, the creature up ahead is S-rank (there's no shame in being unable to beat it). The higher-ups have given us instructions (so we're not responsible). We can get through on the east side (it's farthest from the monster). They're asking you to keep losses to a minimum (let's get out of here!)!"
Li Bai'an gives a single nod, turns west, and uses a transparent umbrella as a weapon, blasting the creature until it is unrecognizable.
Team member: "...Reporting, sir: the creature has been eliminated, and everyone survived."

Li Bai'an: Shh, I hear some bad guys twisting the truth about my instance.
Humans/creatures: Why does it suddenly feel so cold behind us?
*
Notes:
1. Plot-focused.
2. The instances focus on unraveling the overarching world setting.
3. Part of a series. The next book, "Cyber Gods Descend into the Infinite World [Infinite]," can be read on its own, but it's even better to read them together.

Theme: Never give up hope.
I don't like Yu Zhuo very much: First of all, the relationship between Li and him was just a transaction. Everything was based on the premise of the transaction, making it seem like there was such a deep relationship. It was not like the people living in Chabulin who engaged in moral kidnapping. Secondly, I think Li taking him to the floating boat should be regarded as affectionate. Others still have to pay for the ticket. Even in that case, if you have money, you can't buy the ticket. Logically speaking, shouldn't he be grateful to Li for taking him out of the island? And to accuse Li in turn is simply outrageous!!! If he wants to be noble, then he can just jump down. If he is a bitch and still builds a memorial arch, is he speechless?
Wow, I suddenly remembered playing a game about a mental hospital before. I was scared.
It's well written, but why is there no one? (Cry)
Blanched, he actually took it back
Wow, this dream is quite scary.
I find the story very attractive! Come on, madam (???_??)?
There are a bit too many male characters, the female characters are either minor supporting roles or in the background. New male characters appear one after another, which makes me tired.
Annoying stuff...
It's starting to get interesting. Sure enough, it still needs a bit of pressure and conflict to make it look good.
Although under the current situation, there is a high chance that Sun Yuting is a mutant, but if not, the protagonist's original plan was to frame innocent people for profit...
