A Republican-Era Heiress and Her Concubines in the Modern World

[Female-led, no-romance wish-fulfillment novel. Also, my next novel in the same category, My Lazy Family in the 1990s, is at the very bottom. Please add it to your reading list!]

*Blurb:

To escape the war, Qin Chunian, the eldest daughter of the Qin family in Yuncheng, hurried home to the countryside with her scumbag father's eight concubines. A sudden downpour scattered them all in the gale.

Qin Chunian took shelter in a cave. When the rain stopped and she came out, the cave had turned into a tunnel under a bridge. The world had changed completely, and she had arrived in the peaceful era of her dreams.

But without a household registration or an ID card, it was impossible to get by in this peaceful era. Before Qin Chunian could figure out what to do, the first challenge in her ideal new world hit her out of nowhere: she was abducted.

After a battle of wits, Qin Chunian finally managed to save herself and led the other women in trouble to the police station.

There, she found the brave Fifth Concubine, who had been brought in after her husband's family reported her for beating her abusive husband so badly he ended up in the hospital. They were trying to have her reprimanded and educated.

Then came the delicate, flower-like Third Concubine, who rushed in weeping to report her parents for arranging a forced marriage...

After finally gathering the eight beauties, each with her own distinctive looks, from all over the city, Qin Chunian looked at their beautiful faces and got an idea. "How about I make you all stars?"

And so began the modern lives of the young lady and her concubines from the Republican era, starting out as extras!

Reader's guide:

1. Wish-fulfillment story. Blurb posted on Weibo.

2. The historical setting is entirely fictional. All people and settings in the story are made up, with no real-life counterparts. Please don't overanalyze.

3. The female lead travels through time in her own body, while the eight concubines enter the bodies of others. A light ensemble story. More details to come.
