In the old days, the emperor had the best life. A commoner would say, "I want to become emperor, so I can till the fields every day with a golden hoe and be the only one in the whole village allowed to collect manure."
These days, the richest man has the best life. A pauper would say, "I want to become the richest man. I'll put my money in the bank and lie flat, living off the interest. I'll find a whole crowd of handsome men and beautiful women to share my bed, then travel the world with them."
Later, power stopped mattering, and so did money. People realized that heroes had the best lives. They said:
"I want to become a hero. I want to save the world from its suffering, have the lost follow in my wake, have the ignorant raise monuments to me, and make history weep for me."
But no one cared that there could only ever be one emperor, one richest person, and one hero.
The snowflakes didn't care, either.
They fell equally on everyone's shoulders, burying their lifeless bodies.
Reader's guide:
1. A transmigration fantasy adventure.
2. The other world isn't a stage built for anyone. It has its own independent society and logic; it isn't here to play house with the transmigrator, so don't expect the protagonist to steamroll everything.
3. The heroine will stop at nothing to achieve her goals, so readers with saintly sensibilities or various purity hang-ups should proceed with caution.
4. Includes elements of school life, comedy, mystery, political intrigue, war, and science fiction. The pacing is not fast, and Chapter Three has a lot of worldbuilding.
5. No CP! No CP! No CP! Important things must be said three times.
6. The work does not represent the author's values.
A few words from the author:
Life is full of pressure, Earth is small, and human lives are far too short. I may not live to see the day when we're free to do as we please, the day we travel among the stars, the day we speak with aliens, or the day all of humanity can find happiness.
But I still have my imagination. I believe this world contains countless possibilities. I believe every speck of dust is a universe, and that our universe exists within a speck of dust.
When this story exists, it has at least already existed in my mind. When you read it, it will exist in yours, too. In this endless world, in some universe, on some planet, a story like this may be unfolding right now.
That is the romance of stories.
