Why Are You So Obsessed with Pure Love?

A new novel in my profile: "The Seven-Year Itch", a new-love-interest story. Please add it to your reading list! Zhou Xu has just dumped his ex-boyfriend when he gets a text from his childhood friend. [College guy, 188 cm. See ID photo below.] [Requirements: decent-looking, clean, obedient.] He takes a look at the photo. The guy is exactly his type. They set a time to meet. The young man wears a short-sleeved T-shirt under his basketball jersey, and carries a sharp, chilly teenage air that keeps strangers at a distance. Zhou Xu: Not bad. Spicy. Jiang Jue looks him up and down. "Is this your first time?" Zhou Xu smiles gently and raises a hand to push up his rimless glasses. "I haven't had the chance to try this kind of thing." - Jiang Jue just wanted to find a clean-cut man and see whether he was gay or straight. But that one try was like a wild horse breaking free. There was no going back to being straight. Zhou Xu is calm, gentle, and never fights for anything. He's devoted to his family, thoughtful, and absolutely adores him. He figures he's the only one the other man has, so why not take things seriously? But not long after Jiang Jue finally gets serious, he discovers that his supposedly "each other's first love" sweetheart has not only had an ex-boyfriend, but an ex before that, and another before that, plus a beloved white moonlight buried so deep in his heart that he can't dig him out. He's not only not Zhou Xu's first, he might not even be his last. Polite Jiang Jue: WTF. 1. The uke is a real player. Before meeting the seme, he was always the top. 2. The seme is an outstanding graduate of the Virtuous Men Training Program, an innocent, sweet little white flower. 3. Neither of them cheats while they're together. 4. The uke is a jerk. His values don't represent the author's. 5. The seme is devoted as a loyal dog from beginning to end, and there's no groveling chase to win his husband back. 6. Sincere love for sincere love. The main thing is straightforward, pure romance. 7. With the above six points so obvious, seme fans should probably give this a pass. My other new novel, "The Seven-Year Itch", is now available. A new-love-interest story. Please add it to your reading list! 1. Yu Jing and Qi Yan met in high school and started dating in college. After graduation, they built a life together. It's been almost seven years now. They've weathered storms and never had problems with the daily grind, but Qi Yan cheated. 2. Lian Heng lives across the hall from Yu Jing, and they've been childhood friends. He watched Yu Jing fall in love and get married, throw caution to the wind, and choose to be with Qi Yan. He thought he'd spend his whole life drifting along like this, but Qi Yan cheated. 1. High school teacher x police captain 2. New love interest; the seme is an outstanding graduate of the Virtuous Men Training Program. 3. Seme and uke fans, beware, especially seme fans. 4. Younger seme; childhood friends win. Theme: Cherish the one in front of you
