Su Qianqian spent her whole life suffering from illness and once thought she had died in her hospital bed. But when she opened her eyes, she found herself in what seemed to be Hengdian... No, she'd transmigrated into a book. And not just any character: she had become Su Qian, a cannon-fodder supporting female character she'd once felt sorry for.
Su Qianqian: "Good thing I felt sorry for her. Next time, I won't."
As a reborn white-moonlight supporting female character, she had no intention of dying like she did in the book. She would find a new powerful backer, work hard to stay alive, and live a beautiful life.
Su Qianqian: "I'm going to become the empress! Hahaha!"
System: "You have a mission."
Su Qianqian: "What mission? Make the male lead fall in love with me? He'll do as a backer, too. Then I'll kill him and become the empress."
System: "You're getting ahead of yourself. If the male lead falls in love with you, you'll fail the mission."
Su Qianqian: "Interesting. So what am I supposed to do?"
System: "Just stay alive. Do whatever else you want."
Su Qianqian: "..."
So that's it? All she really has to do is stay alive?
She certainly couldn't rely on the male lead. He might even get her killed sooner. Su Qianqian decided she needed to find a new powerful backer if she wanted to put down roots in this world.
But where could she find one?
Su Qianqian looked at the male lead's younger brother, Shen Qi, the original novel's second male lead and villain.
Eloping with her brother-in-law should be pretty exciting, right?
