Wu Su is a young monk at Huaye Temple. Orphaned as a child, she was raised by her master while disguised as a boy.
Demons run rampant in Chang'an, and the little princess has been abducted and vanished without a trace. The emperor hurriedly sends a letter to Huaye Temple, but instead of a great master, a young monk with rosy lips and pearly white teeth shows up.
The young monk taps her wooden fish and amiably knocks out demons with a single punch.
The young monk is so cool! She fights the Demon King to save the princess, outwits the Ghost Lord, and rescues not only the princess but also a frail young man in white.
For some reason, the young man in white is constantly hunted by the Demon King and pursued by the Ghost Lord. Wu Su helps him through his suffering and takes him along on her cultivation journey.
When everything is over, Wu Su says goodbye to him. "Yuan Sui, all feasts must come to an end. I'm leaving."
Yuan Sui smiles faintly. In the blink of an eye, he sets her on the throne of the Demon Realm. "Look. You can't leave now."
