Mo Xinzhu becomes a disciple of Cangyun Sect. Her background is unknown, so the sect members decide to leave her alone for a while and see what she gets up to.

Instead, they discover that the newcomer cultivates diligently, works hard to exorcise evil, and serves the sect wholeheartedly.

Look, it hasn't even been that long, and she's already uncovered several more spies.

The entire sect cheers her on: “Junior sister, great work!”

Other people with amnesia go see a doctor. She goes to a fortune-teller.

The fortune-teller sees that she can read, makes a calculation, and determines that she is destined to write storybooks.

Zhouzhou asks, “Can you make money writing storybooks?”

The fortune-teller says, “How shallow.”

Zhouzhou refuses to work but still has to support herself, so she sets out on the path of becoming the Storybook Lady.

She has no fortune, but a rich person's ailments.

Before Zhouzhou has earned any money from writing storybooks, she's already taken in a peerlessly handsome man. Strangely enough, ever since she started supporting him, she rarely has to spend money on food, clothing, housing, or travel.

Everything goes smoothly for her. Someone beats up the villains, someone pays for her lodging, and all she has to do is dress beautifully and write storybooks in her spare time.

Zhouzhou thinks she'll make her fortune by writing storybooks. But when she looks back, she realizes that with her amnesia, her lack of money, and the man she's met, she's more like a character in a storybook herself.
