Hoshino Haruka, a girl who appreciates a handsome face but never falls for one, transfers in her second year of middle school to a curious school in Osaka: Shitenhoji.
After transferring, she easily joins the newspaper club of her dreams. Then, captivated by the dazzling good looks of Shitenhoji's tennis club captain, Shiraishi Kuranosuke, she volunteers to cover the tennis club.
But as her initial starry-eyed admiration gradually fades, Haruka realizes that just as Shitenhoji isn't a normal middle school, Shiraishi Kuranosuke isn't a man who can be summed up as merely "handsome."
They have one thing in common: they both love comedy.
Haruka: "Didn't you say your captain was perfect?!"
The Shitenhoji crew: "Huh? Did we say that?"
Haruka: ...
Despite herself, Haruka, who knows nothing about comedy, starts learning to fire off witty retorts. For once, instead of losing interest in a handsome guy, she finds Shiraishi adorable.
She's doomed.
A story about a clever, optimistic, hard-working girl growing up alongside the jokesters of the Shitenhoji tennis club. The silly parts are really silly, and the sweet parts are extra sweet.
The story is divided into two volumes, Meteor and Daylight. The Meteor volume takes place roughly from the beginning of Shiraishi's third year to halfway through summer vacation, from the regional tournament up to the start of the National Tournament. Outside the romance, a lot of attention will go to the Shitenhoji team's camaraderie. The Daylight volume tells the story of their lives as adults and is pure sweetness.
Also: For timeline and setting reasons, this version of Shiraishi doesn't wear his golden wristband, doesn't keep Gabriel, and sleeps in pajamas. The Shitenhoji girls' uniform is based on the real-life Shitennoji Middle School uniform. (The yellow-and-blue skirt from the anime is just so ugly. The real-life version looks so good, so why, Takeshi?)
Theme: Imperfection is one form of perfection
I was really happy to read these chapters when I came back from the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. I read them several times. Everyone in Tiantianbao Temple is really very charming. Unfortunately, there are still too few descriptions in the original work. I really cried when Shitenhoji's Dansoul was shown in the game of Shiraishi at Shinwang. I like them so much. Speaking of genius, I remembered when I was playing the official game of Net King and asked Fuji what he thought about genius, "If you just have talent and don't work hard, it will be in vain." "You are a hard-working genius." Woohoo, I want to fast forward to the confession www Confession to the author, next time I come back to read it, it will be the National Day holiday. I hope to update Moduo Moduo.
You have always had courage, but you just didn't see it yourself. I feel that this sentence inspired both Chitose and Haruka. Shiraishi is really a good boy. I cry bitterly for this relationship. I really want to fast forward to when they are together. Wow.
The abbot saw that Xiaoyao's courage was probably because Xiaoyao helped Chitose block the splashed water~ It's really bitter to grow up
However, Shiraishi carefully noticed the surprise that Yaoyao didn't give, so they are indeed a couple~
Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah love is the hand that wants to touch but then takes it back
Wuwuwuwu, madam, are you coming back? I want to see Xiaoyao and Cang Lin's sweet love life!!
Wuwuwu, where is Mrs. I can't live without you?
Ah ah ah, madam, you are great! Penetrate gentleness between the lines. Such touching words! Tiantianbao Temple is really the love school of dreams, and Xiaoyao's classmates are also good at discovering the advantages of others (sure enough, it's because Xiaoyao is really great!) (Xilaixi, what kind of natural style are you?) (I can't finish my love for my wife, Xiaoyao, Xilaixi and Tiantian!)
Ahhhhhhhhh evil Asasi, Xilaixi and Xiaoyao both! So gentle
