How can humanity stand against Cthulhu?
As the title says: I'm at the seaside, and the giant octopus from my abandoned novel has escaped. Am I going to survive?

Fu Xi is a struggling writer for an obscure website. Ten years writing in solitude, nine flops, eight abandoned endings, six bad endings, and four stories where everyone dies. In the end, he earned three yuan and twenty-one mao.
After his two hundred and fiftieth failed attempt to get a book promoted, he made a decision that went against his ancestors: he, Fu Xi, the perennial flop, was done writing!
On the day he abandoned his ninth book, Fu Xi found a fishbone desk lamp on his computer desk.
Wasn't this big kitty thing from his very first novel?
Had he transmigrated?
Awesome!
Fu Xi had just enjoyed three seconds of happiness at the thought of saying goodbye to his 007 work life when his team leader called to tell him the company outing next week would be a seaside trip, extinguishing his spirit of freedom.
Fine, then.
But when he reached the seaside, he realized it looked just like the opening of his first abandoned novel.
Fu Xi vaguely remembered writing a Lovecraftian story. He clearly remembered that it ended with an abandoned finale where everyone died.
Fu Xi: If only I hadn't abandoned it. Is it too late to keep updating it now?
What a joke. No one even runs the website anymore.
