Song Yuzhi is a game designer. At five in the morning, after finishing work at his computer, he was about to go get some sleep when he suddenly keeled over before he could even stand up.
And so he transmigrated into the power fantasy novel he'd read for inspiration. It was a male-lead-centric story, and the protagonist, Jiang Nanyi, was a demon. Later, during the war between humans and demons, even the cannon-fodder master died.
Was that the scariest part? The scariest part was that Song Yuzhi had transmigrated in body, not just in spirit. Based on his years of experience as a game designer, there was a good chance he couldn't get back. He was extremely slow when it came to romance and had no friends in his old life. His family had passed away early, too. It was hard for him to grow fond of people or things, but that didn't mean he wanted to die young in this world full of all sorts of strange people!
And so Song Yuzhi set out to latch onto a powerful ally.
Jiang Nanyi was reborn. His previous life hadn't been much fun. After the war between humans and demons, he had a whole harem, but never touched any of them. When he was bored, he would just watch them compete for his favor. They were all after his authority as the Demon Lord, after all. When the world fell into chaos because of the demons, Jiang Nanyi killed himself. People later lamented that there had never been much worth living for in the Demon Lord's life. He had no friends, and as for lovers, who could say any of them had truly loved him?
Perhaps God thought he was just too bored, because he was given a chance to be reborn.
Transmigration vs. rebirth
Death-fearing master x seemingly sweet, secretly scheming disciple
Notes:
1. A whole lot of melodramatic angst
2. Rough writing
3. I write for fun. If you don't like it, or it makes you uncomfortable, please leave using the top-left corner.
4. Don't take it too seriously.
5. The blurb is badly written. Read the story for details.
