Far, far away, in a brand-new universe, there is a planet called Guyu. It is much like a blue planet in a universe far, far away, except that everyone on Guyu is born with superpowers. The people of Guyu call these powers "innate abilities," meaning abilities one is born with.

These innate abilities might sound impressive, but in truth...

Most of them are only good for things like bringing the toilet paper a little closer when you can't reach it, making you less tired during a run, or keeping your hand from cramping while doing homework...

Of course, this isn't a story about a still lake. It's a river with its share of twists and turns.

The story is told from the perspective of the receiving partner, a woman named Gui Yi. She is one of the rare few.

She has the ability to modify living things and a remarkable talent for medicine.

Because of this, she is kidnapped. Three years later, she arrives on another planet, Jinsheng. The story takes place on this planet, which is both ancient and not quite ancient by Guyu's standards. There, she falls in love with the sole woman of the direct bloodline of the Nayan clan, a great noble house that was once part of the royal family, in Yuanli, a country that is more or less a constitutional monarchy...

She is the Yuan Maiden, the one in whom everyone has placed their hopes. She is a Mary Sue, excelling in both martial and literary arts, clever, both strong and gentle in temperament, and youthful in appearance despite her tall, slender figure. The people of Yuanli see her as the "neighbor's kid" they hold up as an example to their children, and as a beacon for the future.

The people of Yuanli cannot leave their atmosphere without guidance from an alien human. As a result, these eager learners treasure and respect "visitors from beyond" immensely. The upper classes are even constantly seeking out such visitors to hire as tutors for their children, hoping their race will surpass all the others and even become the royal family.

Before Gui Yi arrived on this remote little planet, the last visitor from another world had come around the time Yuanli was founded.

The Nayan clan was once the undisputed royal family of Yuanli. Now that they have fallen from their former glory, they naturally want nothing more than to restore it. With the search for visitors intensified, Gui Yi becomes the tutor of the Yuan Maiden, Yi Feng, and embarks on a journey that will change her life forever.

There will be angst, but the ending is definitely happy, so please don't worry.

They are both deeply devoted from beginning to end. The seme truly loves the uke, so please always remember and believe that.
