Fu Wenshui wakes up to find that he has been reborn ten years into the past, back to when he was 21 and a stand-in for Jiang Zhen's white moonlight.
He has loved Jiang Zhen for thirteen years, ever since he was nineteen. At 21, he becomes a top marksman in the KPL and wins his first FMVP. Excited, he goes to share the news with Jiang Zhen, only to see the man he loves with the team captain he respects most.
It turns out he was just a stand-in kept by Jiang Zhen. Now that the white moonlight has returned, there's no more use for him.
Even so, he continues loving Jiang Zhen. He pursues him relentlessly for ten years, losing his former glory until he has nothing left. In the end, he dies of depression. Only Jiang Zhen and the white moonlight live lives of luxury, praised by everyone.
Jiang Zhen has to stay by his beloved Fu Wenshui's side at all times. His lover is ill and mistakes stories from the world of anime for his own, unable to tell fiction from reality.
He will bring Fu Wenshui back to reality. He will cure him. He will make his beloved believe, forever, that he loves him.
The JAF club's owner, a former number-one jungler in the league, gong x the JAF club's first-team marksman, shou
P.S. The gong and shou only have eyes for each other. A sweet-and-sour romance with no angst in the relationship, though the illness may be a little angsty. The shou is sick, so he thinks the gong doesn't love him.
The gong has no white moonlight! The gong has no white moonlight!
