*Reserved but deeply devoted x independent and proud
*Old flames rekindled / mature romance / relationship-focused / both leads have no prior sexual partners
In the year she graduated from college, Ji Ruzhen chose to part ways with Zhou Qingci for personal reasons.
She was determined to cut him off completely, blocking his contact information and deciding they would never speak again.
Six years after their breakup, they met again at a friend's wedding.
She was a bridesmaid, and he was a groomsman.
While helping the newlyweds with their outdoor photos, they briefly linked hands.
Who could have guessed that would spark a fiery passion?
The next evening, Ji Ruzhen ran into Zhou Qingci downstairs from her home. He wore a shirt and slacks, looking refined and composed.
She smiled, casual and open. "Fancy seeing you here, Mr. Zhou. What brings you by?"
Zhou Qingci said, "Didn't we agree to have dinner together?"
Ji Ruzhen had no recollection of it. "Did we? When?"
"Last night." Zhou Qingci's gaze darkened as he enunciated, "In bed."
Ji Ruzhen froze. "."

"Time can smooth away memories and fade love, but it can't erase the traces of a heart that once skipped a beat."
Reader's guide:
The leads aren't perfect people, and this isn't a story about an all-conquering heroine.
The male lead isn't addicted to smoking. Smoking is mentioned only as required by the plot, so please take note if that bothers you!
Blurb for the upcoming book:
A small-town girl, gentle on the outside and strong within x an arrogant, refined, sharp-tongued composer
A difficult guest checked into the inn where Zhu Sijia worked part-time.
Arrogant, pampered, and suffering from a serious case of rich-boy syndrome.
He was not only sharp-tongued, but could also precisely expose her self-deceptive sense of "stability."
He claimed to be there to find inspiration, but she rarely saw him seriously creating anything.
Instead, he disrupted her life and ruined her plans to marry her long-distance boyfriend.
Unable to take it any longer, Zhu Sijia ordered him to leave. "I'll refund your room charge. Pack your things and get out now."
Fu Chengyu leaned lazily against the railing and gave a mocking laugh. Suddenly, he grabbed her and pulled her into his arms. "I can't leave unless you become my girlfriend."

"But you chose to be ordinary, and so I fell in love with you."

Theme: Stay true to yourself
The characters of this young couple are really my favorite among the novels I have read recently.
Panting, she pulled him up, found the belt with her hands, clicked the buckle with a click, climbed onto his shoulders, used her strength to sit up, and ordered in a vain voice, "Lie down."
Ji Ruzhen hugged him, her shoulders were shaking up and down, she couldn't hold back her screams, and soon her legs became weak and she was drenched.
Oh, I love the paragraphs in this book so much 😳😳
[Orange candy] I got it [Orange candy] I got it [Orange candy] I got it [Orange candy] I got it
I want to watch their extra episode with Dr. Mustard Wen. I want to watch the wedding. Will the copyright sold by Zhenzhen be produced by Zhou Qingci?
[Orange candy] I got it [Orange candy] I got it [Orange candy] I got it
This copyright should not have been bought by the male protagonist.
Hahahahahaha everyone has their own little secret
