[Dream of the Red Chamber] A Lucky Carp's Grand View Garden Management Diary

New story coming soon: Daiyu Is Bound to a Work Simulator [Dream of the Red Chamber + Qing Dynasty Transmigration]

Synopsis:

The koi Lin Yu is the daughter of the Heavenly Emperor and the Heavenly Empress, born from a fallen star. She has no destined path to immortality, so her parents secretly place her in the Celestial River without telling anyone.

Shui Miao, a little cat serving under the Water Virtue Star Lord, digs out a watercourse and diverts a stream beside the Crimson Pearl Immortal Grass. The Queen Mother of the West is enraged and locks Shui Miao away.

While still a naive little koi, Lin Yu eats the life-bound spirit jade of the Tianji Star Lord.

The Tianji Star Lord calculates that he will receive an even greater reward in the future, so he lets the matter slide.

Then the Crimson Pearl Immortal Grass heads to the Dream of the Red Chamber world to repay its tears, and its leaves begin to wither.

Lin Yu barges into the Land of Illusion to find out what's going on, and Warning Fairy kicks her into the Dream of the Red Chamber.

"You owe someone their life-bound spirit jade. If you want to gain a path to immortality and cultivate an immortal body, you must repay the debt in full."

Lin Yu: "Wwww, I'm scared."

Notes:

The Heavenly Court elements in this setting are original.

The various Star Lords have their own original characterizations.

Daiyu's ability: communicating with plants. Inspired by the original story's flower-burying scene, the Flower Festival on the day she was born, and Daiyu's origins.

Theme: Be self-reliant, whether as a human or an immortal
