A Nation's Downfall

It's so short, but it feels so flavorful. I only understood it when I read it at the end. There isn't much writing, but I can feel their flesh and blood. The part where the wedding car meets the coffin is really heartbreaking. She and her little general are separated forever, but they worship heaven and earth. Gu Mei has a kind of stubbornness and persistence, or pride, in her bones. The imperial edict can force her, but she follows her heart and only marries the person she loves. I really didn't expect the reversal later, and I really didn't feel sorry for her, but in the end I felt that this might be the best ending for her. However, I still like this storyteller more. She should be a couple with the heroine's eldest brother. His seven-foot body made Xu Guo, so she guarded his home, stayed by his sister's side, and guarded his burial place. It was very poignant and romantic. After watching the protagonists, Gu Qing, Yan Niang, and Haiyan Heqing, I can feel their love for their home and country. They also mentioned so many things from their childhood. I feel that they should also be childhood sweethearts. This pair is more sensible and more heartwarming. There is a lot of room for imagination, let me read it again and analyze it slowly!
