Evolution Frenzy (Post-Apocalypse)

In Blue Star Year 212, a meteorite fell from the sky onto the Western Federation.

In Blue Star Year 222, plants and animals began mutating all over the world, and the theory of "global evolution" spread widely among the public.

In Blue Star Year 223, mutations accelerated overnight and strange events became frequent. The various forces hiding behind the scenes stepped into the open, and humanity fell to the bottom of the food chain.

Su Feibai was on his way home from work at 2:30 a.m. when he was shoved into a mass of crazed vines while trying to help someone. At the point of death, he regained his memories from his previous life.

In his previous life, Su Feibai used his powerful abilities to live comfortably with his beloved after the apocalypse began. They saved many people, but in the end, he trusted the wrong person and lost his abilities. His beloved died a terrible death saving him in the Haunted Forest, and the city they had worked so hard to build was taken over by a transmigrator.

Reborn, Su Feibai doesn't want to be a good person anymore. He only wants to live a peaceful life with his beloved.

Who knew that this time, his darling would be the one to become a saint?

Su Feibai: ...Changing love interests is out of the question. Maybe I should pluck Lao Yin's head off and rinse it in Qingming Lake?

Yin Chengji awakened some memories from his previous life and resolved to put an end to Susu's habit of saving people on a whim.

But before he could do anything, a World-Saving System showed up uninvited.

World-Saving System: Please, Host, uphold the spirit of helping the world and saving lives. Strive to become a hero to the world.

Yin Chengji: Get lost!

World-Saving System: Someone 300 meters ahead is in mortal danger. Host, hurry and save them!

Yin Chengji: Get out of my head. Believe me, I'll dig out my brain, you included, and crush you!

World-Saving System: ...Saving people earns points that unlock the System Shop. Take a look at this dragon-patterned ironwood. It's the perfect material for making a golden-thread soft armor, just right for keeping Susu safe~ Won't you come have a look, Host~

Yin Chengji: Don't call him Susu! It's just saving someone, right? I'm in!

In Blue Star Year 223, plants and animals evolved at a frenzied pace, the apocalypse arrived, and the world descended into madness.

The Painted-Skin Ghost donned a holy facade and became everyone's idol. A nine-tailed fox giggled eerily as it lured passersby into a high-rise.

The Pen of Hebe wrote an elegy to youth and old age, while in the Shadowless City, a puppeteer wove a web while clutching the bones of their beloved.

This world is full of danger. This world is full of romance.

Su Feibai and his beloved carve out a place for themselves amid the chaos. When they uncover the source of the world's impending doom, they discover that Blue Star's frenzied mutations are connected to those meteorites.

Visitors from beyond the stars have long been watching from the shadows, and the World-Saving System in his beloved's mind is not what it seems...
