[KO One] Catching a Black Cat

That day, I opened my eyes in a strange room.

I couldn't remember my name or what kind of person I was. All I knew was that I was a ghost no one could see.

With my memories gone, all I could do was stay in the hotel where I had appeared, hoping someone might take me home.

While I waited, I met someone who could see me.

"You can see me? You can actually see me?" I floated in the air, circling him in amazement.

Rex, the owner of the Black Cat Hotel, never expected to see a wandering ghost on his very first day staying there.

From that day on, I felt like I had a friend.

Even if he didn't seem to think of me as one.

He might not like sharing stories about what happened to him at school, but I loved telling him about everything I saw late at night each morning. Instead of waiting for night to fall, I began waiting for him to return to the hotel.

Gradually, Rex seemed to get used to having a chatty ghost by his side, one who could transform into any creature or object.

[Please note]

1. First-person narration. Love interest: Rex. The ending will probably be happy.

2. I started this for a friend, so updates are irregular and there's no word limit.

3. The plot is almost entirely original and may be a short or medium-length story.

4. The heroine is a low-level ghost-type monster. She will gain a physical body later.

Theme: Nothing is impossible
