Saving Your Childhood Friend Starts with Winning Them Over

VIP serialization begins Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Please support the story. Thank you so much! Love you w Yuki witnessed the deaths of her two childhood friends with her own eyes, one in a high-rise apartment and the other on a Ferris wheel. Like two fireworks, they were gone, leaving only darkness after the brilliant light and deafening noise. It was hard to go on alone. If Hagi and Jinpei were still here... She thought, "If there were a device that could turn back time to before it all happened, I wouldn't hesitate for a second." She fell asleep with that thought in her heart. When she woke, Yuki had returned to her childhood and bound to a dating System. If she could win over the two childhood friends in this timeline, she could return to the past and save the ones from her original world. So she decided to pursue her childhood friends again, confidently choosing the family and friendship options. Then she watched their affection scores stay at 80%, never budging. ...The requirements were only 50% family affection plus 50% friendship. Why couldn't she get there? Yuki didn't quite understand. Until the combined experience of two timelines helped her achieve unprecedented results at the police academy. After joining the Public Security Bureau, she was sent undercover into an international criminal organization. Her superior, Liquor, her childhood friend with drooping eyes, smiled gently. "Yuki, at least give us an explanation for why you left without a word after college." Her assigned partner, Mescal, her curly-haired childhood friend wearing a villainous expression, said, "Don't make up some ridiculous excuse to fool us. Tell us honestly, just who are you seeing when you look at Hagi and me?" Thesis: Cherish life and love living.
