World Architecture
In the ninth heaven where the sea of clouds surges, the Heavenly Court establishes order in the name of "cleansing the world", but hides the blood-stained scepter under the jade steps of the Liuli Palace. For thousands of years, no one dared to question the lie wrapped in gold foil, until a cat demon who defied heaven's rules and a liar who was good at disguise tore apart this high-sounding sacrifice.
Character Core
The setting of the two male protagonists uses the "game of light and shadow" throughout:
- Eucalyptus
- Identity paradox: As a special envoy of heaven, he lives in seclusion on the top of Cangwu Mountain. When his white hair falls down the cliff like a waterfall, he is a cold immortal. When his ink tail sweeps across the dead branches under the moon, he turns into a black-eyed cat demon.
- Contradictory symbols: The copper coin on the neck is engraved with "Destiny cannot be violated", but the peace charm on the waist is embroidered with "My fate is mine"; the bone fan cuts the throat of the pursuer when opening and closing, and the bamboo flute heals the wounds of mortals when caressed by it.
- Morbid aesthetics: Whenever the dragon pattern is reflected in the cat's eyes, it will lose control and tear the brocade clothes to expose the beast's claws, but when Cheng Leshi approaches, he will wrap his white hair around the opponent's wrist to stay awake.

-Double-faced disguise: when the laughing vortex is filled with drunken immortal brew, he is a simple and honest warrior, and when the silver thread in his sleeves strangles the rebellious immortal, he transforms into Shura; there are three thousand human skin masks hidden under the platinum brocade clothes
- Machiavellian chess game: In the past five years, he has handled "dirty affairs" for Heaven but secretly printed the Book of Life and Death. On the eve of his defection, he dropped the Mermaid Tears in the eucalyptus wine cup that could break the curse of Heaven.
- Fatal bond: Knowing that the cat demon's nails were soaked in poison, he still deliberately pressed his Adam's apple against the cat demon's fingertips: "Master is so crazy, but it is more interesting than the fake Bodhisattva in Lingxiao Palace."
Using the elegance and violence of felines, it dismantles the world order of Eastern immortals. In the grand narrative of the game between gods and demons, it asks how two "abandoned sons of heaven" can find a third path to eternity on the tightrope of betrayal and protection.
