I Went Viral After Filming a Life-Swap Variety Show

From the very beginning, Rong Guang knew there was no chance for him and Zhu Hansheng. The day they first met, Rong Guang had just come back from the fields. He hadn't taken the filming seriously enough to even change his clothes. He went to meet Zhu Hansheng carrying a hoe and covered in mud. The moment he saw him, Rong Guang regretted it. Black hair, gray eyes. A clean-cut young man stood before him, out of reach. Rong Guang had originally thought that having one more person around would be no big deal, and that they would go their separate ways once filming ended. But he never imagined he would carry a torch for him for eight years. To Rong Guang, Zhu Hansheng was a blooming flower, beautiful and pure, while he himself was the mud beneath it, there for anyone to trample. As they spent time together, Rong Guang kept reminding himself that flowers were meant to be admired, not possessed. So without hesitation, he pushed Zhu Hansheng away from his own utterly chaotic life. Eight years later, on the day they met again, it seemed heaven had once more put the choice in their hands. Rong Guang, who believed he had become a better person, didn't want to miss this chance. But then he heard Zhu Hansheng say, "Let's leave the past in the past. There's no need to talk about it anymore. After all, back then, we both weighed the pros and cons and made what we thought was the best choice." The light faded from Rong Guang's eyes.
