So You Were Here Too

In high school, Jiang Chuanli was at the bottom of his class. He slept through lessons and played basketball after school, rebellious and unruly. The teachers never bothered with him. Chu Han, on the other hand, was the beloved top student, elected class study representative for three years running. The thing she said most often to Jiang Chuanli was, “Jiang, you haven't turned in your homework.” Jiang Chuanli lifted his sleepy eyes from the crook of his arm and glanced at her. “There are so many people here. Why are you always picking on me?” Chu Han looked at him without a word. This was the only way she could get a little closer to him. Later, she heard he had a girlfriend. Chu Han ran out of the classroom and happened to see Jiang Chuanli lifting a hand to rub the girl's head, his eyes full of tenderness and laughter. The heart that had been beating inside Chu Han quietly fell still. - Years later, at their high school reunion, they were the only single people among a crowd of married classmates. A classmate tried to set them up. “Why don't you two just give it a shot?” Jiang Chuanli lazily raised his eyes. Chu Han lowered her head, not daring to look at him. After the reunion, Jiang Chuanli caught up with her and asked, “What do you think of that suggestion?” “Don't you already have a girlfriend?” “Who said I have a girlfriend?” Chu Han froze. - She had thought she was the only one involved in that high school crush, one that never saw the light of day. Then she found a note hidden for years in Jiang Chuanli's phone: “Chu Han, when are you finally going to realize that I love you?” “Love is a superstition of fate and timing. Oh, so you were here all along, too.”, Liu Ruoying, singer of “So You Were Here All Along” #Reunion after years apart, each other's first love# #Both virgins, mutual secret crushes, sweet romance# #One-sided healing# #A contemporary city romance that begins with their reunion# Theme: Eternal love
