So an unwritten rule spread among the players: if you run into an especially beautiful NPC in the game, don't hesitate. Run!
Because even if you just look at him for a second, the bosses will hunt you to the ends of the earth.
Everyone knows he's their precious treasure, carefully protected and cherished.

From the protagonist's perspective:
As the weakest being in the game, Yun Xi can't scare anyone, but people are always picking on him. With no other options, he tries another approach: if he can win over the bosses, he'll have people to back him up!
But... it seems to be working a little too well? Maybe a lot too well...

From the love interest's perspective:
After Cheng Xi entered the game, he found it incredibly boring because clearing it was so easy.
So, looking for a thrill, he went to provoke the famously troublesome pretty boy.
Sure enough, it worked like a charm. He successfully got every dungeon boss to hunt him down.
After clearing every stage, he even ran off with the treasure all the bosses had been holding in the palms of their hands.
The bosses: ... (smiling) What the hell are you smiling at?! Give our precious treasure back, brat! (roaring)
