If you don't know, don't ask.
I liked Lin Xiao from the first time I met him. It had nothing to do with romance, and besides, he reminded me a little of my childhood friend, so I always felt an inexplicable closeness to him.
I always thought he probably liked me too. After all, he always greeted me with a smile and called me Teacher so warmly.
Until one day, I went back to pick something up and happened to see Auntie Lin throw the cake and birthday present I'd given Lin Xiao into the trash.
They hadn't even been unwrapped.
After that, whenever I was around Lin Xiao, I could never hold my head up.
Even now, when Lin Xiao asks why I'm leaving without saying goodbye, I can't bring myself to look him in the eye. I can't even feel angry. All I can say is, "Lin Xiao, I don't like you anymore."
The story begins with the male lead pursuing the female lead again. There will be all kinds of strange professions~~ This is something of an experiment.
The characters in this story have relatively detached, adult perspectives. It's just an exploration of some strange relationships between people and doesn't represent the author's point of view~
Another angsty story written for practice. I'm not very good at writing sweet romance. Deep down, I don't believe in it, so most of the relationships I write are utterly tragic. People are barely human, ghosts barely ghosts. In the end, I don't understand this abstract emotion. If I still can't learn to convey something like love, I'll just go back to writing stories with no romance.
Theme: How can love be won?
