To stay alive, Yongjiuhui is forced to bind herself to a System named "Paimon" and use secret identities to gather faith for three sleeping gods.

Only with enough faith can the gods descend.

Yongjiuhui: "Wait, I'm supposed to play the girls too?"

Paimon: "Ehe!"

Yongjiuhui: "What does 'Ehe' even mean?!"

From then on, factions appeared out of nowhere all across Japan. Their only thing in common was their worship of the gods.

And they were all very powerful.

Tokyo was the stronghold of the Knights of Favonius.

A heroic-looking woman was surrounded by unseen winds. A Khaenri'ahn descendant with honey-colored skin silently ended the lives of cursed spirits with a sword of ice that radiated bitter cold. A blazing phoenix burst from the darkness: "In the name of the Anemo Archon, I pass judgment on evil."

The cursed spirits of Kyoto were purged by a force called the "Raiden Army."

Pearl-like waves rippled around a girl who looked like a mermaid. A golden-haired, blue-eyed gunslinger wielded violent flames as easily as her own limbs, while maple leaves followed wherever the young swordsman's blade pointed. "Enemies of the Raiden Shogun will not be spared."

Meanwhile, Yokohama gained a number of friendly residents who claimed to be from "Liyue."

A teal-haired adeptus wearing a Yaksha mask wielded a jade spear. A girl in a Taichi hat stuck out her tongue mischievously. Bitterly cold crystals from an auspicious beast came crashing down on their enemies. "For Rex Lapis."

But most people scoffed at all this.

The idea of "gods" was simply ridiculous.

Until boundless radiance descended from the sky, and three gods slowly stepped down from the clouds.

At that moment, the world turned upside down.
