Original title: Why Has My Sect Turned Evil Again After I Woke Up?
Ye Jiaojiao transmigrates into a book, becoming the eldest senior sister of Sunset Valley, the villainous sect in a cultivation romance novel. According to the plot, she is also the first cannon-fodder to die at the male lead's hands, and her death sets off a chain of events that leaves every last member of her sect dead.

Luckily, the story won't begin for another five hundred years. To avert the tragedy and complete the tasks assigned by the System, Ye Jiaojiao pours her heart and soul into steering her sect away from the wrong path, turning its future villains into some of the finest people in the cultivation world.
On New Year's Eve a hundred years later, Ye Jiaojiao completes her task and is about to retire in triumph. She and her fellow sect members drink all night, until they are dead drunk. When she wakes, the System's cold electronic voice tells her:
"Host Ye Jiaojiao, your mission has failed. The people of Sunset Valley have become villains, and the original story is about to begin."
Ye Jiaojiao is dumbfounded. She only took a nap, so how did everything go right back to square one overnight? Can anyone tell her what on earth happened?
With the story about to begin, Ye Jiaojiao could die in danger at any moment. With no other choice, she goes to find her fellow disciples, who have become villains, and tries to figure out what happened.
Along the way, Ye Jiaojiao discovers that the cultivation world is completely different from the one she remembers. Her former fellow disciples have fallen to demonic ways, spiritual energy, which had been drying up, is beginning to recover, and cultivation, once so difficult to advance, has become easy. Even her junior brother, whom she carefully nurtured for fear he'd go astray, has become the notorious demon lord who kills without batting an eye.
Just thinking about it gives Ye Jiaojiao a headache.
After an update, the System assigns her a new task:
Choose one: destroy either the cultivation world or the demon realm.
Ye Jiaojiao: Well, I'll be. The biggest villain turns out to be me.
Mu Ji, the newly appointed Demon Venerable of the demon realm and once the junior disciple of Sunset Valley, was born into an immortal sect but fell to demonic ways in a single day. On the day he became a demon, he killed the former Demon Venerable with one sword strike.
He is strikingly handsome, but volatile and extreme in temperament. The people of the demon realm fear him, and even his former fellow disciples have cut off contact with him.
The person he misses every day is as her name suggests: a bright moon that hangs forever in the sky. Then one day, he hears that someone identical to her has appeared in the cultivation world.
Mu Ji is furious. He will find out who dares to use her face to deceive people. Disguising himself, he goes to the woman's side, only to discover...
His senior sister really seems to have come back.
It's just that the person his senior sister cares about is the young Mu Ji, not the Demon Venerable Mu Ji.
* My take on cultivation
* A sunny, cheerful, kind-hearted heroine, a little sun, x an absolutely devoted male lead

Here's another upcoming novel. Please support From Today On, I Cultivate the Passionate Dao, also known as The Heartless Swordswoman and Her Happy Puppy.
[1]
While traveling after leaving the mountain, Nan Jian accidentally discovers a storyteller in an inn recounting a tale. The story's protagonist is none other than herself.
Nan Jian is curious: Let's hear what this is about.
Then she gets an earful of gossip about herself that she never even knew:
She eloped with her junior uncle, had an entanglement with the Demon Venerable, and was abandoned by her fiance. Even her title as the best in the world was supposedly won by currying favor with others.
The Nan Jian of the rumors: a peach tree covered from head to toe in blossoms, all of them rotten peach blossoms.
Nan Jian: Stunned.jpg
Nan Jian: ...Thrilling. Do you perhaps remember that I used to cultivate the Heartless Dao?
Before Nan Jian can flip the table, someone else loses his temper first. "Impossible! Absolutely impossible!"
Xia Zhile is an ordinary swordsman who beats the real protagonist to the punch and slams the table. His grand mission to slay demons and vanquish evil is barely underway when he nearly loses his life. The one consolation is that his idol rescues him from the brink of death, then lets him follow her around as a tea-serving errand boy, even teaching him sword techniques she created herself.
Xia Zhile: Who knew something this good could happen?! Dying once isn't such a big deal!
In Nan Jian's eyes, the young man she casually rescued seems to have a tail only she can see, wagging at her every day like a silly, happy puppy.
And so, on the road to slaying demons and vanquishing evil, an odd pair joins the journey: a heartless swordswoman and her happy puppy.
The two travel together, seeking love and the Dao. They see the world's steepest mountains, widest seas, most beautiful flowers, and most brilliant clouds...and they also meet:
The guileless tree demon: Sister Nan, does our promise from a hundred years ago still stand?
The bold young Demon Venerable: A Nan, long time no see. I want a cuddle.
The mature, dependable swordsman: Xiao Jian'er, in the end, my blade grew dull because of you.
Nan Jian: ...?
Wait, who are these "Sister Nan," "A Nan," and "Xiao Jian'er" you're talking about? You don't mean me, do you?!
The romantic entanglements the storyteller described one by one come true, but Xia Zhile remains calm and unbothered. What's there to fear? In his heart, she's a goddess. A god should love everyone equally.
Nan Jian: Get a grip! You're no better than the rest of them!
Nan Jian doesn't care about romance, but aren't there a few too many people showing up at her door? According to them, her heart is like a durian, with someone standing on every spike.
With her sword in hand, Nan Jian rarely feels so troubled: ...The path to seeking the Dao really is much harder than I imagined.
The first swordswoman: oblivious to social niceties, charging ahead is all she knows x a loyal, happy puppy who's sweet on the outside and cunning underneath
Thesis: Never give up looking forward to the future

"Self-heating, reach out and brush it away" is a big bug for the author~ Ran
Why doesn't the heroine say something that only they know to prove that she is a senior sister...?
