Xiao Han, the Wolf King, and Cheng Jing, Marquis of Sheng'an, met amid the chaos of war. A reunion a thousand years later: joy or sorrow? I, Xiao Han, am an "actor," singing a mournful song to guide ghosts and spirits. I, Cheng Jing, am a loyal subject, devoted to protecting my homeland. When the king is above you, Cheng Jing, you must bow and serve him. When you are above me, I, Xiao Han, will bow and serve you. Cheng Jing, there are few things I cannot do, but giving you up is one of them. There are few things I fear, but losing you is one of them. There are few things I cannot bear, but watching you die is one of them.
