(Formerly titled Live-Streaming Detective Conan Science at a Horror Movie Set. Anti-piracy threshold: 70%.)

[Story blurb]
After accidentally dying during a mission, Ogata Yuzu was found by a supernatural livestream System. It promised to revive him and let him continue his unfinished mission, as long as he livestreamed his way through the sets and earned a certain amount of faith.
Newly hired police officer Ogata was full of enthusiasm and agreed without hesitation.
What he didn't know was that these were all supernatural movie sets.
And so:
[Set One: Complete]
After the head chef warned him not to go to Room 237, Yuzu respected his privacy and stayed away.
When his father started acting crazy and typing in a frenzy, Yuzu quietly prepared books on psychological counseling and tools for physical persuasion.
When a strange bear-faced man appeared at the hotel, Yuzu kindly warned him not to trespass on private property unless he wanted to end up in jail.
Officer Yuzu (upright): Physical force solves everything!
[Set Two: Complete]
Politely turned down a friend's invitation to visit their house, and promptly informed the parents.
Studied diligently every day to earn credits, and never went off alone without a partner.
Spread awareness of how to guard against ambushes, doing his best to reduce the need for police work and improve students' personal safety.
Yuzu: Students should focus on their studies!
[Set Three: Complete]
A house from the start, and find your own mission.
Comrade Ogata enthusiastically befriended the pregnant neighbor next door. The police and the people are one family.
The sewing machine is moving? A woman broke in? No problem, call the police.
The pregnant neighbor was so touched that she gave him a doll.
Yuzu was touched, too, and immediately sent the doll to a research institute under the tightest security.
Yuzu: Stay right there.
[Set Four]
What should a police officer do after becoming a junior doctor at a hospital?
Observe his mentor treating patients during his internship, and boldly point out the fetus's unusual characteristics.
Keep a close eye on the patient's every move and show concern for the fetus's development.
Kindly warn the patient to watch out for a cheating partner, and help the national research institute investigate the mystery of the immortal fetus.
Most importantly, expose the ghost that stole a baby's body and blow her house to smithereens.
Yuzu: Physical force works great on evil spirits.
From another perspective:
Ogata, the junior detective who worked tirelessly on cases, died right after starting his job because of the influence of his seniors. His seniors from the police academy and the officers who knew him were heartbroken and devastated.
But on the eve of his funeral, a livestream channel suddenly became popular across the internet. The person livestreaming was none other than their beloved junior, who had died far too young.
And he wasn't the only strange thing in the stream. There was a female ghost under the blankets, a shadow outside the window, eerie twins, and a strange man with a bear's face...
The viewers were all shocked and terrified by the supernatural creatures, yet they couldn't stop watching the protagonist's inexplicably “scientific” way of thinking.
A jujutsu expert: Not bad, not bad. That's one way to survive!
The black-murk man slacking off at the detective agency: Perfect! I can do the exact opposite and end my life flawlessly!
The kind, gentle boy who can see ghosts: Can you really deal with evil spirits that way?
Meanwhile, people in the Detective Conan world were emotionally exhausted, frantically leaving messages on the only channel where they could communicate:
“Don't look back, run!”
“That cute little girl really isn't human!”
“Stop trying to reason with it and run!”
Ogata Yuzu: Huh?
1. A crossover, with a variety of worlds and movie sets, as described above.
2. The protagonist is a sweet, straightforward little police officer at a Detective Conan-style movie set. At first he absolutely refuses to believe in ghosts and gods, but the more the story goes on, the more his worldview falls apart, and eventually he fights back against the supernatural.
[Upcoming story blurb]
Before the new school year, Tang Ning became obsessed with drawing comics, tripped, and hit his head on the corner of a desk.
His childhood friend next door thought he was done for and rushed him to the hospital.
The doctors examined him for half an hour, but couldn't find anything wrong.
Just as they were at a loss, Tang Ning woke up.
He looked at the doctor and saw that the man had grown limp black tentacles with suction cups. Shocked, he cried, “A clay octopus monster! Stay away from me!”
Doctor: ?
The doctor took out his notebook. “I see. This is a psychotic episode.”
Back home, Tang Ning continued his hobby of drawing comics.
But he knew he couldn't go back to his peaceful everyday life.
After a serious illness, he discovered that he was actually living in a world that mashed together the protagonists of all kinds of comics and novels. Sweet and naive bottom characters, domineering and aloof top characters, and top and bottom students who excelled at piloting mecha all appeared in his world.
And he was just a background character whose comics couldn't sell...
However, there was one thing about this world that was different.
Although it was a world filled with characters from all kinds of novels and comics, everything was inverted. In other words, these familiar characters weren't human. They were monsters with tentacles, who spat slime and sometimes grew tails.
Tang Ning: I'm shocked. No wonder nobody reads my comics. I'm the only human here! (suddenly understands everything)
He decided to change the direction of his comics.
His comics used to be bland and boring because he based them on the everyday lives of the people around him.
The rich second-generation guy was rich in an utterly ordinary way, the old man who swept the floors practiced tai chi every day, and the overworked office worker dragged himself to work with his head hanging low.
But after Tang Ning came back from the hospital, his devoted fans discovered that their favorite artist had changed!
The light, everyday art style disappeared overnight, replaced by colossal beings that made you lose sanity just by looking at them, gods of the high heavens impossible to gaze at, and colorful black lacquer clinging to people's bodies.
Even the gentle, wholesome plot became deeply sanity-destroying under such a terrifying art style.
Fans: ?
Fans: Where's our sweet, adorable artist? Please don't do anything you'll regret!
Tang Ning didn't react.
Every day, after finishing the latest update, he privately worried: Everyone around me turned into monsters overnight, and I'm the only one who doesn't fit in.
That's not important.
But how do I convince my roommates not to put their black-murk tentacles on my shoulders after I've just showered?
Please help, urgent.
The people around him were worried, too.
Childhood friend: ...Did Tang Ning forget to take his medicine again today? Hasn't he recovered from his mental illness yet?
(A world where only Tang Ning has a problem in his head.)
