Song Enyu and his husband, Zhou Ran, have a twenty-year age gap.
Before they got their marriage certificate, Zhou Ran was a gentle daddy. Afterward, he became a cruel tyrant. Song Enyu later learned that his biological father had betrayed Zhou Ran by marrying someone else and having children, so Zhou Ran turned his hatred on him.
Their marriage certificate was nothing but a blade with which to torment him.
But he no longer wanted to escape. His severe insomnia meant he didn't have long to live.
Things changed on the night of Zhou Ran's promotion banquet.
The head of the group came in person, and Zhou Ran warned Song Enyu not to leave the room. Song Enyu obeyed. He took twice his usual dose of sleeping pills, and in a daze, followed a strange, cool fragrance into the living room. He unexpectedly bumped into a tall figure, and the red wine in the man's hand spilled over his pajamas.
He looked up in confusion.
The man was tall and striking, with a distinguished air. Though young, he exuded the authority of someone long accustomed to power. His gaze fell on Song Enyu. "Are you Zhou Ran's..."
Song Enyu didn't dare answer. He looked at Zhou Ran.
Zhou Ran chose the most hurtful reply. "My nephew."
The man smiled. "Ji Yankai, your uncle's... boss."
This was actually their third time meeting.
The first time, Song Enyu had gone out to see a doctor. Ji Yankai was sitting next to him, and Song Enyu slept on his shoulder for three hours.
The second time, Zhou Ran had left him on the highway. Ji Yankai kindly gave him a ride, and Song Enyu fell asleep on his lap for half a day.
And this time, Ji Yankai had only come into the room to help him change his pajamas, but Song Enyu had fallen asleep against him again.
He was sure that the strange, cool fragrance on Ji Yankai could cure his insomnia.
A few days later, his insomnia came roaring back.
Song Enyu couldn't take it anymore and went to Zhou Ran's company.
People called out, "Mr. Zhou's nephew," and, "Are you here to see Mr. Zhou?" He lowered his head and hurried past them, making his way to the CEO's office.
Biting a deep mark into his lower lip, Song Enyu spoke in a trembling voice. "Mr. Ji, do you remember me? I'm Zhou Ran's... nephew. Could I... sleep next to you?"
Ji Yankai looked down at him and reached out to draw his trembling body into his arms.
After that, Song Enyu often went to sleep beside him. Just sleep.
He curled up on the sofa in the office while Ji Yankai worked on documents nearby. Every now and then, Ji Yankai glanced over and pulled the slipping blanket back over him, never crossing the line.
Song Enyu thought Mr. Ji was a gentleman and a kind soul who liked helping people.
Until one day, the man gripped him by the waist and held him firmly between his thighs. His voice was hoarse and burning. "Get divorced, then marry me."
Song Enyu was stunned.
Meanwhile, Zhou Ran realized he had long since fallen in love with Song Enyu. He bought him a chestnut cake, his favorite, hoping to win him back, but received divorce papers on the way.
They had never shared a bed during their marriage, so the divorce was finalized quickly and cleanly.
Zhou Ran assumed the kid was just throwing a tantrum and would come back if he coaxed him.
When he opened the door and went home, he saw the child he'd raised since childhood held in someone's arms, being kissed until the corners of his eyes were red. Zhou Ran flew into a rage. "Ji Yankai! Have you no shame, stealing your subordinate's wife!"
Ji Yankai slowly raised his head, wiped the moisture from the corner of Song Enyu's mouth with his thumb, and looked at Zhou Ran.
After a brief exchange of glances, much of Zhou Ran's bluster faded, wrinkles already gathered around the corners of his eyes. The young man in power, meanwhile, pressed his advantage.
"Your subordinate? You're fired."
"Your wife? The court has already granted the divorce."
He lowered his head and nipped Song Enyu's earlobe in front of Zhou Ran, his voice openly possessive. "He's mine now. Who are you?"

· The ex-husband uncle's first love is the bottom's biological father; the top and bottom were childhood friends; a small amount of amnesia and substitute romance; very melodramatic
