At twenty-eight, Wu Ye returned to her home country with a celebrated reputation. On the night she arrived, countless media outlets eagerly awaited her at a press conference. But no one knew that the internationally acclaimed genius director they had been waiting for, Wu Ye, was on the top floor of a hotel, rekindling old flames with her ex in a night of passion.

Her ex had once been the ace of a top girl group, blessed with stunning looks and overwhelming popularity. Her father was a renowned director in the Chinese-speaking world, and her mother was the heiress to a luxury conglomerate. She was the kind of "princess of the world" who would have to do little more than fail to work hard to inherit a fortune worth tens of billions.

Back then, Wu Ye was merely a film-school student from an ordinary family, with a little talent for directing.

Though they came from vastly different worlds, Wu Ye had believed they were deeply in love.

But five years ago, the media published photos of He Shuangwan at a prenatal checkup, shattering the romantic illusion Wu Ye had so foolishly believed in.

*The shocking scandal five years ago not only ruined He Shuangwan's reputation and drove her out of the group, but also severed all ties between her and Wu Ye, her girlfriend of many years.

Now the tables have turned.

The former "princess of the world" has become a scandal-ridden, traffic-chasing actress with a reputation as a pretty face who keeps starring in terrible dramas.

The once-betrayed, destitute student is now an internationally renowned genius director.

Upon her return, Wu Ye swears to stay away from He Shuangwan.

But... why does He Shuangwan's daughter look so much like her?

And... what did she just call me?

Five-year-old Wu Guang: Daddy!
