Blurb:
Three years after her debut, actress Ling Cangcang is finally starting to make a name for herself.
But when she learns that her new drama will star her opposite Shi Dongran, a top-tier star in the industry,
Ling Cangcang is not! happy! at! all!
Her agent doesn't understand. "Shi Dongran has both the acting chops and the popularity. What are you complaining about?"
Ling Cangcang sighs. "How could I complain about him? He's the one who can't stand me!"
Unexpectedly, the very next day, Ling Cangcang runs into Shi Dongran by chance.
Shi Dongran asks her, "I heard you're still considering the new drama. Do you not want to work with me?"
Ling Cangcang finally snaps. "Weren't you the one who disliked me first?"
When the mystery behind their first misunderstanding is finally unraveled, the feelings buried deep in their hearts can no longer be hidden.
Ling Cangcang: "Mr. Shi, do you maybe like me a little?"
Shi Dongran: "I guess I haven't tried hard enough. You only noticed a tiny bit?"
Ling Cangcang gives a cold laugh. "You should be thanking your lucky stars I noticed at all."
Shi Dongran is at a loss, but now that he has found his own rainbow, he won't let go so easily.
Later, a reporter asks Shi Dongran during an interview:
"Mr. Shi, do you often give Ms. Ling Michigan Blue Ice roses?"
Shi Dongran smiles and doesn't deny it.
After the interview comes out, Ling Cangcang posts a photo of a glass greenhouse.
Her fans spot a bed of blooming white roses inside.
Little Star 1231: Could the roses Mr. Shi gave her be ones he grew himself?
