This is just a little movie-review project for my own entertainment.
I'm no so-called veteran film buff. I can't name most directors. Maybe I've seen every film by some of them, without realizing they all came from the same person. I don't even know the names of many classic actors. I might recognize their faces and know what they've appeared in, but I never bothered to remember their names. You could say I'm not a professional film fan.
But I really do enjoy watching movies. I keep an eye on what's coming out, then decide whether to see a film in theaters based on its poster, publicity, and general premise. So here I'll write down some comments and impressions about the movies I've seen. Nothing especially professional, just an ordinary person's reaction to one audiovisual work after another. In other words, what you'd call a review.
