A Retired Police Dog's Unscientific Daily Life

[The cover uses a Shetland Sheepdog because we couldn't find commercial-use German Shepherd material. Please understand.] I, currently named Matsuda Kitty. Orphaned at one, avenged my parents with my own hands at three, cracked a major smuggling case at four, saved a handsome undercover police officer and countless civilians at five, trained dozens of outstanding successors at six, caught the boss of the liquor syndicate at seven, then successfully retired-- Now I've left all that glory behind and chosen to become Officer Matsuda's guardian. Retirement is peaceful and lovely, except that my ward often hugs me, strokes my head, and mutters in my ear, "Come on, transform for me." * Seeing a shooting star flash across the sky, Officer Matsuda, drinking and moon-gazing on the rooftop with his German Shepherd, clasped his hands and made a wish-- "Please turn my Titi into a human." The next day, after waking up dead drunk, he stared blankly at the decorations in his home and sniffed the aroma of fried eggs in the air. Then a fierce, black-haired young woman dragged him out of bed. "Get up already, it's time. Go to work!" Titi, his Titi-- "Please turn back, AAAAAH!!!" Reading Guide: 1. From the start, the retired dog is a glorious hero. The liquor syndicate has already collapsed, and the dog becomes human in the middle to later part of the story. The blurb is in first person, while the story is in third person. 2. Titi is a German Shepherd. There are occasional little mysteries in daily life, and the dog squad gets the job done. 3. [Important, important, important] The cover uses a Shetland Sheepdog because we couldn't find commercial-use German Shepherd material. They're all sheepdogs, so please understand. _(:з"∠)_ 4. The idea of a liquor-syndicate whiskey infinity game is so ridiculous, it cracks me up. Blurb: After graduating, I found a stable sales job under pressure from my parents. On my first day at work, a superior from headquarters came to inspect us. I was hiding in the crowd, slacking off, when the young boss picked me out at a glance. With a kind smile, he warmly taught me the core secret of sales: "The most important things in this job are speed and attitude. One small mistake and you'll end up with your head split open." The bandages on the boss's head made his words especially convincing. "But as long as you can sell this bottle of miraculous potion in my hand, you'll pass." Entrusted with his confidence, I accepted the rat poison with both hands and set out on the road to becoming a professional salesperson-- I traveled to every corner of Tokyo, and at last, on a chaotic, hidden street, I knocked on a door. A silver-haired young man opened it. He looked irritated, clearly my target customer. Before he could speak, I said solemnly: "Sir, I imagine you're suffering from a serious rat problem. I'd be happy to help." * Recently, the whiskey agents undercover in the organization have all heard the same news through various channels: Gin, who hates rats more than anyone, recently got his hands on a powerful rat exterminator. A new internal purge is about to begin. Theme: Stay dedicated to your post, and be responsible and dependable.
