The Love Story of the Panxing Saintess

[I couldn't find inspiration for the original blurb, so I'm sorry for the major rewrite. This version focuses on Jujutsu Kaisen.]

While undercover as the Holy Maiden of the Pan Star Cult, I started dating a younger guy.

My boyfriend was funny and considerate, and he was an honest, kind person. I really liked him.

Then the aging cult leader suddenly fell gravely ill and slipped into a coma. The candidates began scheming and fighting among themselves, and I, the mascot... I mean, the Holy Maiden, was suddenly thrust into the eye of the storm.

My career was in shambles, and my love life was hit by a downpour, too.

My usually steady boyfriend sent me a garbled breakup text in the middle of the night and then vanished without a trace. All I could do was hold on to the first love I'd barely managed to wrap up and keep fighting on the front lines to take down an illegal organization, tears in my eyes.

I did everything I could to find evidence of the higher-ups' illegal dealings. Before I could fake my death and get away, the other party died first.

Then, at the new cult leader's inauguration ceremony, I saw my "gentle and harmless" ex-boyfriend again.

He looked at me with his usual smile.

I couldn't bring myself to smile back.

* Crossover of Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, and Natsume's Book of Friends. One-on-one romance, with Geto Suguru as the male lead.

* Turns out my comfort zone really is watching couples fall in love.
