This is a very cliché story.
Or maybe it can be an inspiring one.
Who hasn't had a dream at some point in an ordinary life?
It's just that... some people's dreams gradually get worn away by reality,
while some people get just a little bit luckier.
Which brings more surprises, dreams or unexpected encounters?
Shen Xingchen says she doesn't know.
To Shen Xingchen, Lu Nancheng is an unexpected encounter,
the kind that is unstoppable, yet makes her want to run away with all her might.
And to Lu Nancheng, Shen Xingchen is also an unexpected encounter,
the kind that can't be put into words, yet is impossible to let go of.
But sometimes, every unexpected encounter in this world is like meeting again and again,
meeting different people at different times,
and then unfolding a different story.
So perhaps an unexpected encounter is, sometimes, a long-overdue reunion between you and your dreams...
& & & & & & &
Life was never a fairy tale. It's very real, and sometimes even cruel.
But so what? As long as we're strong enough, as long as we keep working hard,
as long as we still believe happiness exists...
then, as we head toward the future, we'll surely see the sunshine.
In tribute to my 2022, and to our 2022.
In tribute to our perseverance, and to our hard work and dedication.
