On her third run, after failing to follow the path of a pillar of the righteous way, Dian Fengying finally snapped.
These unruly commoners!! This is outrageous!!
To rise among the righteous as an ordinary person, the System's plan was to start from the bottom, first winning the people's hearts and then taking on the villains...
Starting from the bottom was fine. Taking on the villains was fine too. But all three times, Dian Fengying got stuck trying to win the people's hearts.
First, she had a bad temper and didn't want to deal with idiots.
Second, there was no way to win over this bunch of unruly commoners!
On her first run, the commoners said, "Tuluo Wujiang is..."
On her second run, the commoners said, "Su Huan Zhen is a traitor."
On her third run, the commoners said, "The Buddha of Heaven is evil."
Dian Fengying: Fine. They can't be saved. I'm going to be the villain.
So Dian Fengying loaded the world-destroyer template and began drawing the hatred of everyone in the Bitter Realm.
She went hard on the unruly commoners: "The human world has grown filthy again."
She went hard on the evil gods: "You're nothing but a minor god of the human world."
She went hard on the villains: "You did your best."
Everyone, enduring humiliation.jpg: Su Huan Zhen, Cang, where are you?! Abandon the Heavens is back!
Reader's Guide:
1. The main setting begins with the Immortal-Demon arc. Runs one, two, and three are explained as background (you can tell them apart easily, right?).
2. The heroine loads Abandon the Heavens' template. They're both victims of the unruly commoners, so they have a lot in common and an extremely high synchronization rate. In short, she's a lower-powered Abandon the Heavens.
3. A shipping war story (?), with a chance of getting phased 1v1 pairings.
4. At first, the heroine can't stand the unruly commoners. Later, she can't stand anyone. A satisfying story about climbing the ranks as a villain.
Theme: Use force to give the brainless NPCs of the Bitter Realm some brains. That's all!
