Sorry, I Took Down the Abyss

After a catastrophic collapse, abysses of various sizes appear all over the world. Anyone who gets too close and is infected will quickly go mad, mutate, and die.

Si Ming's job is to investigate and isolate the abysses, building safe zones where humanity can live and work.

One day, after erecting another towering radiation shield wall, he hears a faint sob from somewhere in the mist-shrouded depths.

"Squeak."

Si Ming thinks he must have imagined it. Just as he turns to leave, a strange, vivid red flower blooms on his shoulder.

"Could you take me with you too?"

Unable to leave behind a fragile, delicate flower that will wilt by tomorrow, Si Ming takes it back to his room and places it in a glass bottle filled with clean water.

To his surprise, the strange flower doesn't wither. It takes root, sprouts, and keeps growing.

Eventually, it wraps tightly around his waist, sends its branches into his mouth, and blooms again and again, wantonly releasing its fragrance.

"I like you. I want to give myself to you."

After that, every time Si Ming seals off an abyss, another strange little thing appears by his side. Ribbons, vines, little octopuses... They all have one thing in common: they grow bigger and wrap themselves tightly around him.

Later, the abysses around the world begin moving on their own.

One after another, they rush toward Si Ming.

"Love you, love you, love you..."
