Wang Xiaoshi first met Lei Ta on the main street of Xiliu Town. The girl stood in front of him with a sword, holding out her hand and demanding the white jade box.
“Since you know you can't protect it, you might as well let someone else have it. Then at least one person can answer for it, and we won't all end up embarrassed.”
A lot happened after that. Some of it I remember, some of it I don't. I just remember that the girl kept chasing me to kill me, but each time, she held back.
The last news I heard of her came from her sister, who passed on these words:
“Wang Xiaoshi, in your next life, make sure you find me first.”
