During the judgment at Takamagahara, the Serpent God secretly arranged to switch bodies with the Executioner God. He destroyed half of Takamagahara and killed the gods.

Susanoo, the Executioner God, lost his divine nature, but still held on to Ame no Habakiri with all his strength and sealed away the Serpent God with a single strike.

Both gods were gravely wounded in their battle and fell together from Takamagahara to the human world. Ame no Habakiri transformed into unbreakable chains, binding the two gods, whose crimes were so grave, to the mortal realm.

The badly injured Orochi and Susanoo quietly slept in the human world to recover their strength, awaiting the chance to utterly destroy each other.

And so, two thousand years passed in the human world.

What's it like to wake up and find that two thousand years have gone by?

Especially when you discover that, after two thousand years, you're chained to the person you hate most.

In the modern world, Susanoo and Orochi are still forced to stick together. This is the story of how they hurt and help each other as they try to regain their strength.
