Weren't You Supposed to Be Gentle? [Interstellar]

Mu Kongqing has a fiery temper and is a battle maniac, the strongest fighter in District Seven.

She hears that her fiance is an irritable, ruthless man, the strongest fighter in District Five.

Mu Kongqing follows her older brother to the capital star for a work report, hoping to see what her fiance looks like.

Her actual thoughts: I want to fight him and see which of us is really the strongest.

However, on her very first day on the capital star,

she falls in love at first sight with someone else.

The other person is gentle and considerate, refined and elegant, utterly unlike the ruthless, hot-tempered fiance of the rumors.

So she reins in her true nature, speaks softly and delicately, and looks exceptionally shy and bashful.

Back on the warship, Mu Kongqing charges over, grabs her brother by the collar, and says, "Arranged marriages are a terrible idea. I'm calling off the engagement!!!"

As it happens, District Five also says they can call off the engagement as soon as possible.

And so both sides happily reach an agreement.

At the banquet before leaving the capital star,

to disprove the rumors of hostility between District Five and District Seven, Mu Kongqing agrees to meet her ruthless and violent former fiance.

The moment they meet, they stare each other down.

Mu Kongqing sneers. "Gentle and considerate?"

Zhongli An raises an eyebrow. "Shy and bashful?"

A few notes for readers:

1. The leads are both pretending, and they're evenly matched in combat.

2. One-on-one romance, happy ending.
