Ji Yu discovers that she's been transported into Water Margin and bound to a Lucky Block System. She can open one block each day, but the odds of getting something good depend on the luck stat of the character she's bound to.
Ji Yu: No big deal.
Then she discovers she's bound to the hapless Yang Zhi, and can only break the bond after maxing out his affection.
Ji Yu: All right, then. A pair of unlucky souls, and now I'm crying old tears.
She rolls a teleportation scroll and gets Yang Zhi's ancestral sword back. When he's broke, she brings out heaps of silver to treat him to a meal. After his birthday tribute is stolen, she rolls a pile of treasures to help him put it back together.
At last, she maxes out his affection and breaks the bond. She sends him off to Erlong Mountain, then happily heads for Liangshan to achieve her ultimate goal.
But then the System tells her: Your loyal little puppy seems to have turned into a dark, corrupted wolf.
Faced with Yang Zhi, who chases her up Liangshan with a menacing expression, Ji Yu gives an awkward smile. What is she supposed to do? She just bound herself to the lucky Wu Yong!
Wu Yong: (rubbing his forehead) I feel like my luck is dwindling a little more every day.
Gongsun Sheng: (after a divination) Because someone's been draining your essence every day.
Yang Zhi (eyes flashing with menace): You're only allowed to drain my essence!
Ji Yu: You demonic Taoist, stop saying such weird things!!!
