My next book, Snowbound Beauty, is a melodramatic story. Add it to your favorites if you're interested.
Blurb
(Against the trope of a forced marriage by a powerful man: the heroine forces the hero to marry her. Sweet romance, happy ending.)
Princess Mingzhao's childhood nickname is Ruanruan. Her voice is so soft and gentle, sticky-sweet as cotton, that everyone thinks she's still a little baby. So Ruanruan's father always rejects her marriage proposals, more than ten of them, on the grounds that "Ruanruan is still a child!"
In the blink of an eye, she turns eighteen. Her childhood friends are all getting married, while Ruanruan, with her soft little voice, has become the "old maid" everyone in Shengjing gossips about. To prove to her father that she's no longer a child, she does the most outrageous thing she's ever done on her birthday:
She kidnaps the young master of the Defender General's residence and brings him back to the princess's manor to be her consort...
"Still glaring? Keep glaring. Even if your eyes pop out, nobody's coming to rescue you!"
Ruanruan takes a bite of fruit and looks at the handsome young master she kidnapped from the general's residence, saying the harshest words in the softest voice.
They say a melon forced off the vine isn't sweet, but Ruanruan doesn't care whether it's sweet when she forces it off. So what if it's not sweet? It smells good!
Gu Qingning has known Ruanruan since they were children. Because he was chubby as a child, Princess Mingzhao once "looked down on" him. Later, he went to the military camp with his father and brothers and built up a body of solid muscle. He'd barely been back in the capital a few days when he was kidnapped to the princess's manor. Looking at the little princess happily munching on fruit, Gu Qingning grins to himself. If she knew he was the chubby little boy she'd looked down on, how would the little princess react?
The story of how I failed to recognize my childhood sweetheart, only to have him turn the tables on me...
The story of how the person I secretly loved forced me to marry him...

Coming soon: Snowbound Beauty
Blurb:
Ruan Mingshu is the young wife of the Marquis of Dozhou's household in the capital. She has thoroughly studied The Rules for Women and The Admonitions for Women, and usually covers her face with a veil whenever she encounters a man who isn't family. She's the perfect daughter-in-law, as the noblewomen of the capital often say.
She thought her life would carry on this way, following every rule to the end. That is, until the year she found an almost unnaturally handsome man by the moat...
*
A fleeting affair, gone in an instant.
She thought "he" would be a secret she'd take to her grave. But not long afterward, at her younger sister's engagement banquet, she saw him again. Her younger sister, beaming with happiness, introduced him: "Eldest Sister, this is the Fourth Prince, Yan Hui, my future husband."
"He" spoke teasingly: "You look familiar, young madam. Have we met before?"
*
Yan Hui has only been abandoned twice in his life: first when his birth mother threw him into the moat, and then when Ruan Mingshu walked away without looking back...
As she left, he thought that no matter what, even if the road ahead led to endless torment, he would drag her down into it with him...
"I'll drag you into hell, then worship you as a god."
The hero is cold-hearted (a refined egoist).
The heroine is cold-blooded (after suppressing herself for so long, she's a little mad deep down).
Theme: Be your truest self, and exist beyond definition.
Bring a column to preview "Mingshu on the Snow", a bloody novel in which the heroine is cold-hearted, cold-blooded and crazy, and the hero hates and kills each other.
No matter what door you open, cook the rice first, eat it and wipe it clean!
So why did this brought sister get married so well? If I brought it back a year ago, it usually belongs to someone else but the emperor. If he loved his daughter so much, why would he let an unrelated person take advantage of the good choice? I don't understand.
Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo uncomfortable
Congratulations on Kaiwen! Spread flowers spread flowers
Ah ah ah ah it's open it's open
Hiss. . . I believed the author when he said it was a light-hearted and sweet story. I don't know if it turned out to be sweet or not, but I just had a lot of misunderstandings. The heroine originally thought she was a soft baby, but it turned out that this was not soft in the article, but that she had no mouth and no brain. It was really frustrating.
Will the male protagonist never regain his name?
Why is my uncle's daughter named Liu?
Woo woo woo woo, I want to see the little princess regain her memory, I want to see the little princess ()
