I Opened Blind Boxes in the Sixties

Originally titled "Our Village Transmigrated"

In 1960, drought was not the only disaster. Floods, earthquakes, and typhoons struck frequently, causing grain production to plummet and leaving many fields with no harvest at all.

As soon as Zhang Jianjun transmigrates, he has to face a home with almost no food left, where they can only get by on a bowl of thin wild-vegetable porridge handed out by the village. Hoping to find more food to feed the child he "picked up" along the way, he takes a little gold key from the house and plans to go with his companions to trade it for food on the black market. But they accidentally fall off a cliff on the way and discover a ruined ancient temple, where they unexpectedly find their way into one new world after another.

The first time they open the door, they find a row of black trash bins. Inside are all kinds of discarded food, and someone even yells at them, "You pigs!" The only problem is that they have very little time: they can scavenge for just twenty minutes. If they stay any longer, they won't be able to get home!

The second time they open the door, they find a lush forest, full of wild vegetables and animals. Unfortunately, they don't get to enjoy it for long before an arrow comes whistling through the air. This time there's no time limit, but they have to contend with being hunted by both animals and strangers.

The third time they open the door...

In short, every time they open the door, they find a different surprise, or a different shock!

P.S. This is a fictional historical setting. Dear readers, don't compare it to real life. It's simply a slice-of-life story about an ordinary person who gets a lucky break and changes his own life and the lives of the people in his village!
