Tan Ziyi is a nineteen-year-old high school student from the future. He has terrible luck and is rather laid-back. After downloading a full-dive game called "Zombie Simulator," he starts playing under the guidance of System 06.
At first, Tan Ziyi really thinks it's all just a game. After getting used to living among the zombies, he plans to settle into farming and base-building in the game. But then he runs into Cheng Huanyuan, an "NPC" riddled with bugs. Cheng burns down his home and nearly kills him, so Tan Ziyi, furious, tries to "get revenge." Instead, the crafty human ends up "taming" him.
