The protagonist of this story, Afeng, is a rebellious boy who has only recently graduated from high school. In those days, the internet economy was just beginning to take off, and traditional Chinese arts like Peking opera were gradually declining... Hoping to find himself amid the glitter of university life, and to help the seed of Peking opera planted by his elders when he was a child take root and grow, Afeng borrows money to spend a small fortune on a secondhand jinghu. Then, with his friends, who seem destined to cross his path, computer genius Liu Hongfei, opera-house girl Lan Jiexin, and star-networking genius Yin Yige, he pursues his dream. Their goal is to use the university radio station to spread the beauty of Peking opera across N University. Can their original opera music fly over campus like a banner and echo freely in everyone's ears? What does traditional art mean in a world of popular fast-food culture? As they seek answers and trace the roots of the art, what new insights will young Afeng and his friends gain? What new rewards and difficult choices await them? Come and find out!
