The Ailing Beauty Takes the Capital by Storm

Coming back in July to readjust the balance of the plot.

Blurb:

Shen Si, Marquis of Yong'an, defended the northern frontier, safeguarded the realm, and assisted the ruler, only to meet the fate of so many great generals: a violent death.

He should have returned to his homeland as a spirit after death, but instead woke up possessing the body of a sickly young boy.

From then on, he set his household in order, dealt with corrupt officials, and righted injustices...

From obscurity to becoming the most powerful minister in Tianqi, firmly seated at the top,

then turning against the emperor and assassinating him...

Shen Si wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, looking like a bewitching ghost.

As he drove his knife into the emperor's chest, he said each word distinctly: "Your Majesty, in the dead of night, have you never had nightmares?"

With the emperor's protection in public and the "Shadow" guarding him in secret, no one in the capital dares provoke this living King of Hell, whose power reaches the heavens.

After Shen Si dies--

His deputy general travels thousands of miles to the capital to avenge him. A prince from a rival kingdom, once his friend, swears to restore justice for him. The current emperor spends every night sleeping beside his white bones. His spoiled, willful younger sister ties up her hair, preparing to return to the capital one day and clear his name...

Only one person--

On the rainy night he returned to the capital, a man in a silver mask appeared out of nowhere. Amid bloodshed, he carried Shen Si over bones and corpses and tied up his three thousand strands of loose hair.

After that, he repeatedly protected him through one perilous situation after another.

The Seventh Prince, Bei Junyan, was beyond his expectations.

"I have someone I love. He is a free-spirited eagle on the frontier, and the cool, clear moon over Shengjing. As dazzling as the sun and as bright as the moon, his radiance puts everyone else in the shade."

"A Si, I'll be the blade that avenges you."

7. The author isn't very literate, and this isn't serious political intrigue. The plot and romance serve the characters. Please overlook any logic holes. The writing is amateurish, so enter at your own risk.
