After Bai Xingyi was dumped through the silent treatment, she spent four miserable months before finally slamming her hand on the table.
"I'm going to be a heartbreaker! I'm going to turn bad! I want a sweet romance!
I'm never letting anyone hurt me with the silent treatment again!"
Bai Xingyi didn't want to hurt guys who were serious about love, so she decided to go after playboys instead.
"If I want someone sweet-talking and flirtatious who always responds, why not find a playboy?"
"As long as I don't fall for him, I can just enjoy the sweet talk."
"I have to pretend to be a heartbreaker. I can't let a playboy see what a little white rabbit I am, or he'll eat me alive!"
Her goofy best friend, Qiao Anwen: "Sounds fun. I'll send you the heartbreaker's handbook. There's also a party with handsome guys tonight."
That evening, Bai Xingyi appeared at a bar, her dark hair and fair skin striking, her eyes full of affection.
Her red lips made her stunningly beautiful.
Across from her, Yi Yuanfeng had a pair of lovely, flirtatious eyes. He gently brushed her cheek with his fingertips and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

Yi Yuanfeng gently smoothed the lipstick she'd smudged with his kisses. "Pretending to be what?"
Yi Yuanfeng: "You're not a heartbreaker. You're just pretending, aren't you?"
Bai Xingyi tightened his tie, grabbed it, and pulled his face close to hers. "Pretending to be what?"
Pretend long enough, and you'll learn to flirt.

Later, both of their exes showed up, wanting a proper farewell.
The two of them discussed it and decided to make it a four-person get-together so they could clear everything up at once.
They had barely taken their seats.

Bai Xingyi's ex to Yi Yuanfeng: "Why is it you?"
