Prince of Tennis and Skip Beat: Reborn as an Entertainer

The story of a modern woman who dies in a fire and is reborn in the world of The Prince of Tennis, with the soul of a famous Song Dynasty courtesan fused with her own.

The heroine dies tragically in a fire,

then has the good fortune to be reborn in the world of The Prince of Tennis,

then loses her memory, which is unfortunate,

and finally, in an unexpected twist, gains the memories of a famous courtesan from the Song Dynasty a thousand years ago.

With no memories of her previous life, and only the common sense time has given her, the heroine decides to live earnestly and make up for her past regrets. By chance, she becomes an actress and embarks on an exciting life.

P.S. Acting is a job for the heroine, not an ideal she aspires to. True to her serious nature, she'll do her job conscientiously, but she absolutely won't sacrifice anything for some so-called "acting career." Given how much she values a quiet life, she doesn't think she'll stay in show business for long. To put it plainly, she treats acting as a well-paid part-time job. After all, both the practical knowledge from her past life and the courtesan's memories have made her uncomfortable with depending on others, especially financially.

The inspiration for this story came from a Prince of Tennis movie. On the day Eiji Kikumaru celebrates his birthday, he gets lucky and wins the grand prize: the famous Chocolate Duo will visit his home and meet him face-to-face. But the Seigaku princes, who came to celebrate with him, ruin things. The duo mistakes Sadaharu Inui for Eiji and gives him a passionate kiss. That episode made me realize that even princes have idols! Girls who travel back in time always admire the princes, so why can't there be a kid who lives earnestly and becomes the princes' idol?
