After a major 3.0 update, Red and Black, a full-immersion game known for its high degree of freedom and interactive gameplay, added a factionless mode for players focused on everyday life alongside its original Red and Black factions. A special achievement in this mode, “The Most Ordinary Mipha,” had hidden requirements, and no one had managed to complete it.
Fang Hefa, who had unlocked every achievement in both the Red and Black factions and then stopped playing, couldn’t stand it. He created a new factionless alt that very night, planning to quickly earn all the newly added achievements. When creating the character, he couldn’t be bothered to customize a new face, so he used the data from his Red faction account. He even changed just one character in the name before jumping in.
To get through the impoverished beginner stage as quickly as possible, Fang Hefa used his Black faction account, his genuine Liquor account, to send his new alt money and people, and to smooth over every problem.
After a long time in the game, Fang Hefa had maxed out every life skill on his alt and cleared the main storyline. Only then did his last remaining achievement, “The Most Ordinary Mipha,” suddenly unlock and reveal its requirements:
Evade more than 10 targeted murder attempts, be considered a suspect in more than 10 cases, and never get arrested.
Fang Hefa: “???” What does any of this have to do with being a life-mode player?
The night after Amuro Tooru met his deceased classmate’s younger brother at Poirot and was asked for cooking advice, Bourbon heard that Chablis, just back from Northern Europe, had taken on a young lover who looked exactly like the police officer Chablis had secretly loved back then.
Furuya Rei thought this absolutely couldn’t be allowed. Even if Chablis was willing to give the younger brother money, pave every path for him, and even shield him from bullets...
It still wasn’t okay! A substitute romance could never have a future!
Please note:
OOC warning, various headcanon warnings.
There are melodramatic plotlines, misunderstandings, and rescue arcs, but no romance plot (including romantic interest).
The protagonist is not a tragic, beautiful, powerful character. There are three accounts in total, and the main story is told in chronological order, starting with the first account.
Theme: When gaming, know when to stop. Don’t force yourself to get the platinum trophy.
